How we work with founders and product teams in the US and Canada.

How do you work with US-based teams?
We work async-first from Portugal, with daily overlap on US Eastern and Central time zones. Communication happens in Slack, Loom, and Notion; deliverables go through Figma, GitHub, and Linear. Weekly calls and a shared roadmap keep everyone aligned.

What time zones do you support?
Our default overlap is 9am–1pm ET (afternoon in Europe), which works for teams in the US East Coast, Central, and Mountain. We adjust for West Coast and Canadian teams on request. Async standups and recorded walk-throughs fill the rest.

Do you work as an extension of an in-house team?
Yes. The most common model is embedded design and engineering partner: we sit inside your tools, attend your standups, and ship alongside your team. We have run this model with Series A to growth-stage teams.

Do you work with existing design systems?
Always. If you have a Figma library, tokens, and component specs, we extend them rather than replace. If you do not, we can build or refactor a system in parallel with the first product surface.

How is pricing structured?
We work monthly or per-project. A typical 6-week product design engagement is USD 25k–60k depending on scope. Monthly retainers for ongoing product design start at USD 12k. We send a fixed-price proposal after a paid discovery call.
